C.R.S. § 22-33-104(3)
A child who is deaf or blind and between the ages of six and seventeen must attend, for at least one hundred seventy-two days during the school year, a school that provides suitable specialized instruction. This attendance requirement does not apply to a child if the Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind refused him or her admission and it is impractical to arrange for attendance at a special education class within daily commuting distance of the child’s home.
