| D. Required Findings for Continued Hospitalization |

The
judge or
jury must find that the child “is in need of care and treatment.” The judge or jury must
find by clear and
convincing evidence that the person has a mental illness, and as a
result of
the mental illness, is a danger to self or others or is gravely
disabled.
