E.  Hearing


C.R.S. § 19-5-103(10)
The court may interview the child in chambers to learn the child’s wishes. The judge may permit the attorneys to be present. The interview must be recorded and be made part of the case record.

C.R.S. § 19-5-103(11)
The court may also request, in writing, professional advice. The professional must be made available to the attorneys, parties and other expert witnesses. Attorneys may cross-examine the professional. The written advice is confidential, must be sealed, and may not be opened without court consent.
