K.  Parental Kidnapping Prevention Act

28 U.S.C.A. § 1738A
The Parental Kidnapping Prevention Act (PKPA) is aimed at deterring parental child snatching. It is a federal law that gives full faith and credit to state custody orders.

L.G. v. People, 890 P.2d 647 (Colo. 1995)
It confers continuing jurisdiction on a state that issues a custody order so long as the child or a parent lives in the state. However, the PKPA does not apply to D&N proceedings.
