How To Use This Benchbook


Goal
Get child welfare law information quickly and easily

As a judge, magistrate or attorney, you need the 
relevant state and federal law at your fingertips. Whether you handle one or hundreds of juvenile law cases a year, you’ll find this benchbook a useful tool.

Chapters
Go to the Chapters

The main chapters are listed on the left frame of the main window. Clicking on a chapter will list the subsections of each chapter. Clicking on the subsections will display the contents on the right frame.
 
Statutes & References

You can look up statutes and reference using the links in the margin. Clicking on the statute links will open the relevant statute in a separate window. Close the window to return to the benchbook.

Special Features
Search Feature

You can use the search feature to search through the entire benchbook and return relevant results. Click on the “Search” button on the top left frame of the main window. Type in your search words in the search box and then click on “search”. You may choose to search only the titles of chapters and subsections by checking the related setting. Return to the main contents at any time by clicking on the “Contents” button on the top left frame.


Bookmarking


Use the bookmarking feature to save links to chapters and subsections of special interest to you as a quick reference guide. You can add and remove and display your bookmarks at any time. The Bookmarking feature uses cookies to remember your settings. Removing or deleting cookies from your system will also remove your bookmarks.
